Senior Pastor's Message
Pastor Ken Mwale
Welcome
to the South African Mission of Capital
Christian Ministries
International. The Mission base of the South African frontier of CCMI is in
Pretoria, which is the
Capital City of
South Africa. Our Local Vision is to
reach the suburban community of our city with the gospel of
Jesus Christ by providing ministry that will be relevant and a
Church environment that is non-threatening.
Something 4 the
Soul
Let
the peoples give thanks to You, O God; let all the peoples
praise You. The earth shall yield its increase;
and God, our own God, shall
bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth
shall fear Him.
(Psa
67:5
-7)
I thought I should encourage you to live a life
of praise. God has done and can really do a lot of great
things if we can stop complaining and start praising.
Complaining comes naturally to us but what God wants is to
praise our way to victory. Praise sends confusion in the
enemy's camp. Praise God at all times and in everything and
your life shall yield its increase.

The Making of a Family
As it can
be seen in the picture above, our church has a big emphasis on
family life. Our aim is to create an environment were everyone
feels that they belong to a loving and caring family, the CCMI
family.
On this
particular day, we all met in the Lyttelton east sport and
recreation baseball field and had family fun. As one big
family we played sport and games and had such a wonderful
time. We also had a meal together.
People
went home with prizes and many good relationships were
consolidated. It was also a good time to see people open up.
Some people that are so quiet in Church and other such places
were running and laughing. The beauty of it all is that the
day provided an opportunity to see the making of another CCMI
family away from Zambia was the ministry Headquarters is.
Another
such opportunity is availed every Monday and Wednesday evening
at our fitness club. When people are busy working out they
loosen up and just let go of all defenses. They let down their
guards and become themselves. We feel so blessed to have such
an opportunity of seeing God at work in the life of the
Church. We give him all the Praise.

most enthusiastic competitor during our family day on the 27th
of April. Standing next to her wearing a red cap is Pastor
Mpho our family ministry Pastor who was one of the organizers
of the event.
We are located in the suburb of Centurion South of Pretoria.
CCMI, South Africa was officially registered on the 24th November 2003 and by January 2004 we got the official documents and the certificate of Collation. Another 3 months later, we got our work permits allowing us to work in South Africa.
Our first Sunday service in a public place was on the 4th of April 2004. Something very significant about this date was that it was the 4th day of the 4th Month of 2004 and I preached to 4 people and the service ended at 4 P.M. (16:00 hours). I will never forget this day.
On November 17th my wife and I arrived in South Africa to establish the CCMI South African mission base. The task was both a challenge and an honor because Pretoria was the first foreign mission to be established by CCMI. We are growing strong in all areas and God has continued to show His goodness.
Check the Pretoria frontier mission segment of
http://www.CapitalChristian.net every once in a while to get updates of what God is
doing here in the 'Jacaranda' City. Until then, God bless you
